Fancy Favor Wedding gifts

This is what I was up to last night till 12h30 and all day today for a total of 12 hrs work... (thank god for compressed work weeks to have one day off every second week :)...I LOVE fridays!!!)

The story goes like this...when I was at Marlayne's and Kim's Creative escape retreat week-end at the begining of October, they gave us plenty of little suprise gift all week-end long. One of them was the Fancy Favor gift with a little something for our projects. The picture on the left is the picture of it that I got from Marlayne's website.

This is when you find out it's a small world when a fellow demo (Roselyn Denis...Merci encore) comes to me and says: 'Come with me I have a customer for you!'. I follow her, the customer was looking at what we where doing while waiting for her husband to finish with his massage as she was locked out of the room ;-)... She fell in love with the item in question and asked if I could make some for her wedding. She happens to live on my street! What are the odds...

Here is a quick visual of my adventure of making the 60 wedding party favours in Elengant Eggplant, I added a tag with the modern label punch that simply said: '' Merci'' with their names and the date of the wedding.

WOW!!! I just LOVED doing this, it was a lot of work but as Jo-Ann said...well worth it!!!

After passing the vaccum to pick up a zillion little pieces of ribbon...loll...and doing this post...I am off to work again, if you call scrapbooking work ;)...to make some other projects for tomorrow as I am attending Marlayne's Holiday Hoopla and doing a demo of a canvas for fellow demos and customers...I love Stampin' Up! events...well go to go, hope you like my project and until next time!
