Gift card in a Wine bottle box

It's been a while since my last post, I was very busy with x-mas partys, mass production of x-mas cards for work customers and getting ready for x-mas myself, but to be real honest, I didn't want to post until I had the watermark done on my creations, it took me quite a while of trial and error...but I've finally GOT IT!!!

I wanted to share a gift I made for my father-in-law for his b-day (dec 12) and since it's quite close to x-mas, and that we never know what to get him, my boyfriend wanted to get him a gift card at the liquor store. I personnally am not to thrilled at giving gift cards, as I don't find it very personnal, I like to personnalize my gifts and for them to be unique.

So I came up with this beautiful Wine gift box. The technique I did to decorated the front is with paste and dabbed it with Marina mist ink and added some Dazzling diamonds to add a little pizzaz... The nice thing about our products is that everything matches...I also made him a b-day card

On each side I used a stencil is called Kind thoughts Brocade (116572) and you can find it in our Definitely Decorative catalogue and dabbed it with Marina mist classic ink.
The bottle of wine is La petite Chardonne 2006, and I don't even buy bottles at that price for myself...but my father-in-law is very special to me.

Sorry that the picture is a bit fuzzy, I really do need a new camera...One of the best things that I love about Stampin' Up! is that everything matches...ink, paper, ribbon and the list goes on so all you have to do and let you imagination run wild and create. I gave a lot of these nice boxes to some special friends and customers.

Well I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did creating them.

Until next time!
